Books, Books, and More Books!
Here are three ways students can access books for fun and earn AR points:
School Library
Students go to the school library weekly. Our media paraprofessional helps students select fiction and nonfiction books. Book selections may be brought home.
Overdrive
Read books on any digital device. Go to http://launchpad.classlink.com. Enter your student ID and password. Click on the Instructional Apps icon. Click on the Overdrive icon.
Local Library
AR books can be checked out at your nearest library branch. Digital books may also be borrowed. You can obtain a library card there, or get a temporary card online at https://www.leegov.com/library.
About Our Media Center
Parents' House Bill 1467 was signed by Governor DeSantis on March 25, 2022, and requires school districts to be transparent in the selection of instructional and library materials. Below is a list of all materials maintained in the Cafferata school library media center or required as part of a school or grade level reading list, in a searchable format.
