Walker/Biker Procedures
 
 
 

A T T E N T I O N
PARENTS OF WALKERS AND BIKERS

Walkers and Bikers must enter the campus from the rear of the campus near the intermediate playground, located on N W 1st Place.

Parents may not drop students off at that location by car.  This area is for bus entrance only and cars will only provide a traffic congestion and unsafe situation for walkers and bikers.

Cape Coral Police and School Resource Officers will be assisting us in monitoring this situation for the safety of all bus riders, bikers and walkers.

All cars must enter the campus from the front parking lot.  Follow the arrows for student drop-off/parent pick-up.

Please follow our designated traffic patterns for the safety and security of all citizens.

Cafferata, Jr. Elementary School CAR RIDER ARRIVAL AND DISMISSAL     NEW – Revised Afternoon  Pick-up for Car Riders   We must change our route for afternoon pick-up by order of the Cape Coral Police Department, Department of Transportation, and School District Safety Department.   Effective Monday, August 22, 2005 please follow this route to drop off and pick up your child/ren from this temporary campus:   Follow the path outlined on this map and stay in your car.  Use your YELLOW sign on the right side of your dashboard in the window.  Your child will be called and be ready for pick-up when you enter the campus parking lot from NW Juanita Place to NW 3rd Lane through the side gate.  Pull up to the next available safety cone and your child will be put in your car.   Children will be kept back from the cars a safe distance, supervised by teachers and under the big tents for protection from sun and rain.   You must stay in one line and follow the arrows around the parking lot to exit, back at the gate you entered from, only turning right to get back to N W Juanita Place.  Please do not try to change this system by using any other side streets.  If everyone follows the rules, we know we can safely dismiss all students within 25-30 minutes.   If you do not like waiting in line, please check the bus routes.  We have far less students riding buses and routes will be consolidated if buses are not used.
